Exiting economy mode
Thesefunctionsarereactivatedautomatically
nexttimethevehicleisdriven.
F Inordertorestoretheuseofthese
functionsimmediately,starttheengineand
letitrun:
- forlessthantenminutes,touse
theequipmentforapproximately
fiveminutes,
- formorethantenminutes,tousethe
equipmentforuptoapproximately
thirtyminutes.
Lettheenginerunforthedurationspecifiedto
ensurethatthebatterychargeissufficient.
Donotrepeatedlyandcontinuouslyrestartthe
engineinordertochargethebattery.
Aflatbatterypreventstheenginefromstarting
(refertothe"Battery"section).
Loadreductionmode
Systemwhichmanagestheuseofcertain
functionsaccordingtothelevelofcharge
remaininginthebattery.
Whenthevehicleisbeingdriven,theload
reductionfunctiontemporarilydeactivates
certainfunctions,suchastheairconditioning,
theheatedrearscreen...
Thedeactivatedfunctionsarereactivated
automaticallyassoonasconditionspermit.
Energyeconomymode
Switching to economy mode
Amessagethenappearsintheinstrument
panelscreenindicatingthatthevehiclehas
switchedtoeconomymodeandtheactive
functionsareputonstandby.
Ifatelephonecallisbeingmadeatthistime,
itwillbemaintainedforaround10minutes
withtheBluetoothhands-freesystemofyour
audiosystem.
Systemwhichmanagesthedurationofuseof
certain functions to conserve a sufficient level
ofchargeinthebattery.
Aftertheenginehasstopped,youcan
stillusefunctionssuchastheaudioand
telematicssystem,windscreenwipers,dipped
beamheadlamps,courtesylamps,etc.for
amaximumcombineddurationofabout
fortyminutes.
