iPod
Operations
This unit can be used to control a connected
Apple iPod (third generation version 2.2, fourth
generation version 3.01/3.02, iPod Mini version
1.2).
Notes:
• Note that iPod versions later than those noted
above
may
not
be playable.
• The unit will
not
operate,
or
may
operate
improperly with unsupported versions.
• First andsecond generation iPods cannot be used.
Notes regarding use
of
Apple
iPod
• When using an iPod, after connecting the iPod
to
the connector, select the iPod mode
by
either
pressing the [SOURCE] button,
or
by
touching
the iPod icon on the SOURCE menu.
• After the iPod has been connected to this unit,
the iPod's buttons are disabled for operation.
• When the iPod mode has been selected, a
special iPod control screen is displayed different
from the main menus for other modes.
• The remote control unit cannot be used
to
perform scan, repeat
or
random play.
• This unit can display the SONG title, ARTIST
name,
and
ALBUM title
of
tracks recorded on the
iPod. When no track data is present, the title
display will remain blank.
• During VISUAL mode,
if
VISUAL
AUX
SENS
setting is changed, the playback volume in the
iPod mode will also be changed.
• The iPod is used with the equalizer function
turned
OFF.
• Precautions regarding
battery
consumption:
When the iPod's internal
battery
becomes
depleted, the recharge warning
indicator
will
appear
in
the iPod's display. In
this
condition, the
iPod
cannot
be
played
even
if
attached to the VRX755VD. Also, the
VRX755VD's recharging
function
cannot
be
used
to recharge the iPod.
As
a result, when the iPod's
battery
becomes depleted, use the dedicated
charger
provided
with
it
to recharge the
battery.

Function
• If
VISUAL
is selected for
SUB
zone, the 2-
ZONE
function will be canceled when the iPod
is connected.
•
When
the iPod is connected, playback is
supported only when SUB zone is set to DVD
mode.
• When connecting the iPod, the iPod mode can
be selected
in
the MAIN zone, regardless
of
the ON/OFF setting of the
2-Z0NE
function.
Controlling
the
iPod
• Select the iPod mode
1.
Connect the iPod
to
the connector.
2. Press the
[SOURCE] button.
•
The
iPod mode can also be selected by
touching the iPod icon on the
SOURCE
menu.

Repeat OFF.
The
default mode is All Repeat.
All Repeat is performed for the selected item.
For example, if
ALBUMS
is selected, all tracks
recorded on the album will be played repeatedly.
[PLAY LIST] key
Press to display the play list. During playback of
a play list, the icon turns orange.
[BROWSE] key
Press to display the browse menu, allowing
selections
to
be made from the item key
(ARTISTS, ALBUMS, SONGS, GENRES,
or
COMPOSERS).
When a
track
is selected from this menu, the
icon turns orange.
[2Z0NE] key
Touch continuously (for about 1 second
or
more) to switch the
2-Z0NE
function ON (the
icon turns orange). Touch again to turn OFF.
