Basic
Operations
Note:
e
When
the
Display
[12]
has
been
stored
in
the
source
unit,
AS
(Auto
Store),
PS
(Preset
Scan),
SCN
(Scan),
RPT
(Repeat)
and
RDM
(Random
Scan)
are
disabled.
Manually
turn
off
these
func-
tions
before
turning
the
Display
(12|
to
the
horizon-
tal
position.
Turning
on
and
off
the
monitor
Each
time
you
press
the
MONI
button
[17],
the
monitor
is
turned
on
and
off.
*
When
a
button
other
than
the
volume
adjustment
button
is
pressed
or
during
security
monitoring,
the
monitor-off
mode
is
canceled.
Mute
Each
time
you
press
ENT
of
the
o-selector
[1],
mute
is
turned
on
and
off.
“MUTE”
is
displayed
when
mute
is
turned
on
in
radio
or
TV
mode,
and
“PAUSE”
is
displayed
in
CD/MD
changer
mode.
Adjusting
the
tone
Notes:
e
When
the
DSP
or
equalizer
unit
(DPH9300,
DPH7300,
or
EQH5100
sold
separately)
is
connected
to
the
source
unit,
the
tone
is
adjust-
ed
by
the
DSP
or
equalizer
unit
and
the
tone
adjustment
mode
cannot
be
selected.

If
no
operation
is
made
for
about
5
seconds
after
each
operation,
the
unit
returns
to
the
previous
mode
and
the
settings
