Connecting the Accessories
Connection to the external amplifier
The
external
amplifier
can
be
connected
to
the
audio
output
terminal
(RCA
terminal)
(red,
white)
on
the
side
of
the
tuner
amplifier
unit
and
the
source
unit.
Connection to the monitor for rear seat
The
monitor
for
rear
seat
can
be
connected
to
the
VIDEO
output
terminal
(yellow)
on
the
rear
of
the
source
unit.
In
this
case,
install
the
monitor
in
a
location
where
it
will
not
come
into
the
driver's
range
of
vision.
Connecting
a
VTR
component
with
incorporated
camera
VTR
playback
is
available
by
connecting
a
VTR
component
with
incorporated
camera
to
the
VTR
input
terminal
on
the
front
panel
of
the
source
unit.
Use
a
separately
sold
converter
lead.
Switch
the
band
to “VTR”
when
watching
videos.
Connection to the security camera for vehicle
The rear vision camera for vehicle can be connected to the system expansion terminal on the
source unit.
For details, refer to the instruction sheet or manual for the rear vision camera.
Note: A power supply box (sold separately) is required for connection of the source unit and the
security camera.
Connection of the VTR to the expansion terminal
Use the signal conversion lead (sold separately) for the connection.
Connection to the DSP or equalizer
The Clarion DSP or equalizer, DPH9300 or EQH5100, (sold sit ratio can be connected to the
connection terminal for the tuner amplifier unit and the audio terminal (RCA terminal) (red, white).
For details, refer to the instruction manual for the DSP or equalizer.
Note: When connecting the DSP or equalizer, the switch (Normal/DSP equalizer) on the attached
tuner amplifier unit should be set to “D”.
