DVD Video Player Operations
Regarding MP3/WMA folder creation
Up to 8 folder levels (including the root directory)
can be created for MP3/WMA files (items 1 – in
the illustration). However, on this unit, folders
created above the third level will be converted to
2 levels.
Pausing playback
1. Press the [ OK ] button or touch the [ ]
key during playback.
Playback pauses.
2. To resume playback, press the [ OK ] button
or touch the [ ] key again.
Playback resumes.
Skipping a track (searching)
1. Press the [ ] or [ ] button during
playback.
Tracks are skipped, as many as the times the
button is pressed, and playback starts.
• Press the [ ] button starts playback from
the beginning of the next track.
• Press the [ ] button starts playback from
the beginning of the current track. When this
button is pressed again within about 2
seconds, playback starts from the
beginning of the previous track.
* This function performs in the current folder
only.
Fast forward and fast backward
1. Press the [ ] or [ ] button during play-
back to start the fast backward or fast for-
ward. A second press will increase speed
to 4x , then 8x, and 16x. Press [ ] for
normal playback speed.
Selecting a folder/track on the LIST
screen
1. Touch the [List] key during playback.
Folder List screen is displayed.
2. When the desired folder is not displayed,
touch the [ ] or [ ] key to scroll the list.
3. Touch the desired folder name key.
The Track List screen appears.
4. Touch the [ ] or [ ] key to scroll the list, and
touch the desired track name key.
The corresponding track is started playback.
5. Touch the [LIST ] key.

Other various play functions
1. Touch the touch key of the function you want
to play.
Repeat Single: track repeat playback
This operation plays back the tracks currently
being played back repeatedly.
• An icon is displayed in the info window in
the upper right corner of the display.
Repeat Folder: folder repeat playback
This operation plays back tracks in an MP3/
WMA folder repeatedly.
[Random]: folder random playback
This operation plays back tracks recorded on
the disc in no particular order.
• An icon is displayed in the info window in
the upper right corner of the display.
[Repeat]: track random playback
Repeat All : repeat all playback
This operation plays back tracks in an MP3/
WMA disc repeatedly.
• An icon is displayed in the info window in
the upper right corner of the display.
