3.11 Boring head setup
1. Select the required parts using the
“Boring head tool range” table.
2. Using the drawing as a guide,
assemble the stack up blocks on to
the tool carrier symmetrically on
both sides of the tool carrier, from
tallest to shortest.
3. Mount the boring head and the
counterweight on the stack up
blocks.
