7.18 Application for low outdoor temperature
Option indicated for very cold climates, where the outside temperature can be between -10 and – 30°C.
The option includes self-regulating heaters with thermostats that can protect the electrical panel from freezing to make sure it operates
correctly.
The accessory is also active with unit OFF; the unit must remain powered.
7.19 Start-up report
Identifying the operating objective conditions is useful to control the unit over time.
With unit at steady state, i.e. in stable and close-to-work conditions, identify the following data:
t
total voltages and absorptions with unit at full load
t
absorptions of the dierent electric loads (compressors, fans, pumps etc)
t
temperatures and ows of the dierent uids (water, air) both in input and in output from the unit
t
temperature and pressures on the characteristic points of the refrigerating circuit (compressor discharge, liquid, intake)
The measurements must be kept and made available during maintenance interventions.
7.20 2014/68/UE PED directive
DIRECTIVE 2014/68/UE PED gives instructions for installers, users and maintenance technicians as well.
Refer to local regulations; briey and as an example, see the following:
Compulsory verication of the rst installation:
t
only for units assembled on the installer’s building site (for ex. Condensing circuit + direct expansion unit)
Certication of setting in service:
t
for all the units
Periodical verications:
t
to be executed with the frequency indicated by the Manufacturer (see the “maintenance inspections” paragraph)
