o dead man switch for parking operations P (Picture 9): hold this
button pressed together the joystick J1 to lift/lower the jib and to-
gether to joystick J2 to lower/retract the boom.
o maneuver selector 7 (Picture 9) for parking (closing) opera-
tions (to the left) or travel operations (to the right).
3.2.4 Platform control (emergency) station
Picture 10: platform control (emergency) station.
The emergency station is placed on the right side of the turret and it can be
activated by a key 1 (Picture 10): in horizontal position, it enables the bas-
ket control station; rotated clockwise, it enables the emergency control sta-
tion.
When you choose to use the emergency control station, you
should remove the key.
Close the emergency control station before getting on the bas-
ket.
It is composed by:
- aerial part movement levers:
o red proportional lever 2 (Picture 10): it has to be used together
with the other levers;
Under the proportional lever, there is an adjustable bolt. This
bolt has to be completely unscrewed when you operate the re-
covery procedure with the manual pump.
o jib lifting/descent lever 3 (Picture 10): it performs the lifting (up-
wards) and the lowering (downwards) of the jib;
o boom lifting/descent lever 4 (Picture 10): it executes the lifting
(upwards) and the lowering (downwards) of the boom;
o pantograph lifting/descent lever 5 (Picture 10): it operates the
lifting (lever upwards) and the lowering (lever downwards) of the
pantograph;
o turret rotation lever 6 (Picture 10): it operates the MEWP clock-
wise (lever upwards) and counterclockwise (lever downwards) ro-
tation of the turret;
o boom extension/withdrawal lever 7 (Picture 10): it activates the
extension (upwards) and withdrawal (downwards) of the boom.
Every movement stops at release of the lever.
o dead man anti-crash button 10 (Picture 10): during the opera-
tions to close the S19N, if the machine stops, it’s possible to re-
start the operations pushing this yellow button with the manoeu-
vres.
