Inspections
In case of
negative outcome
of the inspections:
Resolution

Perform the following testing op-
erations by using the (emergency)
controls placed on the turret when no
one is aboard:
o Stabilize the MEWP;
o Lift and lower the telescopic
boom;
o Lift and lower the Jib;
o Clockwise and counter-
clockwise rotate the turret;
o Extend and retract the tele-
scopic boom.
THE BASKET FLOOR MUST
ALWAYS KEEP A HORIZONTAL
LEVEL.
Check the functioning of the out-
riggers block valves, keeping the
boom lifted:
o Lower the outriggers and
level the MEWP;
o Push the “EMERGENCY”
button to turn off the engine;
o Operate the lever for the lift-
ing and lowering of the out-
riggers.
OUTRIGGERS SHALL NOT MOVE.
It is strictly
forbidden to use the
MEWP. Contact the

sion/lifting cylinder:
o Set vertically and extend the
boom;
o Push the “EMERGENCY”
button to turn off the engine;
o Operate the lever for the
telescopic boom extension
and retraction;
o Operate the levers for the
lifting and lowering of the
telescopic boom.
BOOMS SHALL NOT MOVE.
It is strictly
forbidden to use the
MEWP. Contact the
Service.

Checks
In case of nega-
tive result of the
checks:
Intervention

Checks the functioning of the mo-
ment limiter (if present):
o Stabilize the MEWP;
o Load the basket with 230 Kg
(only weights)
VERIFY THE ABSENCE OF CRACKS
AND SPLITS ON ALL THE
STRUCTURE AND WELDINGS OF
MEWP.
During the check, it is strictly
forbidden to load the MEWP placing
people in the basket.
