Examinethecleaneragainafter1.Discardthecleanerifitdoesnotstayinamixedcondition.
NOTE:
InteriorandExteriorAircraftCleaner(11-037)andAlkalineCleaner(11-058).Forthe
dust,slightgreaseanddirt,preparethesolutionasfollows:MixAlkalineCleaner(11-
058)withwaterinaproportionof1to3,MixAlkalineCleaner(11-058)withwaterina
proportionof1to4.Forheavygreaseanddirt,preparethesolutionasfollows:Interior
andExteriorAircraftCleaner(11-037)withwaterinaproportionof1to3.Awhole
concentrationofAlkalineCleaner(11-058)cleaner.
NOTE:
Alkalineaqueouscleaner(11-038)andAlkalineCleaner(11-058)areinterchangeable.
B.Procedure
(1)Removecontaminants(dustanddirt)fromsmoothsurfaces.
NOTE:
Startfromtheupwindsidesoastopreventsplashesfromcontaminatingcleansurfaces.
(a)Movetheaps/slatstothefullyretractedposition.
NOTE:
Tocleantheaps/slatsinthefullyextendedposition,refertotheRemoveContam-
inantsAroundSensitiveComponentsprocedure.
(b)Inaccordancewiththecontaminationoftheaircraft,useamoistenedclothtoscrubthe
dustanddirtonthesurfaceoftheaircraft.
NOTE:
Ifanydirtremains,donotscrubwithstrongforcetoavoiddamagetothesurface
oftheaircraft.Usecleaningagenttocleanit.
NOTE:
Ifyoucancompletelycleantheaircraftsurfacewithcleanwater,usingthecleaning
agentisnotnecessarylater.
(c)Drytheworkareawithcleancloth.
(2)Usethecleaningagenttocleantheaircraftsurface.
