3.Procedures
A.Procedure
(1)Checktheconditionofpassengerstairsbeforeuse,includingyellowwarninglightisavailable,tire
pressureissufcient,thereisnoleakage.
(2)Conrmthatthepassengerstairsplatformandarmrestbafeisintheretractedposition.
(3)Thepassengerstairsshouldarriveatthedesignatedparkingplaceatthespeciedspeedand
route.
(4)Aftertheaircraftisstopped,enginesareshutdown,anti-collisionlightsisturnedoff,andthe
wheelisblocked,thepassengerstairsslowlyapproachesthepassengerdoorontheleftsideof
theaircraftafterreceivedthesignalfromthecommanderthatitcanapproachtheaircraft.
NOTE:
Thepassengerstairsshouldnottouchanysensorswhendockingthepassengerdoor.
(5)Adjusttheheightofpassengerstairs,keepapositionmatchingwiththepassengerdoor.
NOTE:
Theheightofpassengerdoorislowthancommonnarrow-bodyaircraft,thepassenger
stairsshouldavoidbumpingwhenapproaching.Refertotable1belowfortheground
clearanceandsizeinformationofARJ21-700'spassengerdoor.
(6)Afterdocking,keepasufcientsafedistancebetweentheplatformofthepassengerstairsand
thebottomedgeofthepassengerdoor(10cmisrecommended).
NOTE:
Theplatformofthepassengerstairscanbesqueezedwiththesealunderthepassenger
door,however,thestructureofthexedsealatthelowerpartofthepassengerdoorand
theoutskinofthedoorshallnotcontracttheplatformofthepassengerstairs.
(7)Afterthepassengerstairsisstable,blockthewheelandshutdowntheengine.
(8)pullouttheguardrailafteropenthepassengerdoor,keepenoughsafetydistancebetween
guardrailanddoor(10cmisrecommended).
NOTE:
TheARJ21'spassengerdoorisinverted,waitfortheattendanttoopenthepassenger
doorbeforepullingouttheleftguardrail.
B.Finalprocedure
(1)Removewheelchock,evacuatepassengerstairswithnormalprocedure.
(2)Makesurethattheworkareaisclean.Removealltools,equipmentandunwantedmaterials
fromtheworkarea.
