A.Preparation
WARNING:MAKESURETHATTHEAIRPLANEISINASAFECONDITIONBEFOREYOUSTART
THEREFUEL/DEFUELPROCUDURE.IFYOUDONOTOBEYTHISWARNING,IN-
JURYTOPERSONSANDDAMAGETOEQUIPMENTCANOCCUR.
(1)Whenrefuelingtheaircraft,youmustreadtheprecautionsandlimitsfortherefuel/defueloper-
ationcarefullyandobeyitstrictly.
NOTE:
WhenthetankthatsuppliesfueltotheAPUiswithafuelquantitylessthanthealert
quantity,donotrefuelthroughAPUpowersupplymode.Otherwise,duringthelongtime
ofpreparation,thefuelmayrunoutcausingtheAPUtoshutdown.
NOTE:
Ifthefuelineithertankismorethan4500kg(9921lbm)beforerefueling,thetankcannot
bepressurerefueledtothemaximumtheoreticalrefuelingquantity5193kg(11449lbm),
duetotheactuationofoathighlevelvalve.Defuelthetanktillitsfuelgetstolessthan
4500kg(9921lbm),andthenllthetankfullatonetime.Orrefuelthetankbygravity,
butthemaximumrefuelingquantitycannotexceed5193kg(11449lbm).
(2)Dothetaskofaircraftstaticgrounding.
(3)Usebondingjumperstoconnecttherefuelvehicletoapprovedgroundingorbondingconnec-
tions.
