(2)FuelSpillProcedure
(a)Variablessuchasthesizeofthespill,weatherconditions,equipmentlocation,aircraftoccu-
pancy,emergencyequipmentandpersonnelavailablewilldeterminethecorrectresponse
tocontroltherehazard.
(b)Duringrefueling,continuouslymonitortheaircraftforfuelleaksandfuelspillsatthewingtip.
(c)Ifafuelspilloccurs,dothesesteps:
1)Stoptherefuelingoperationimmediately,andstopthefuelow.
2)Notifypersonnelonboardtheaircraft.
3)Followemergencyproceduresonfuelspillandreprotectionprovidedbythere
departmentandtheoperator.
4)Inspectenclosedareastomakesurethattheyarefreeoffuelvapor.
WARNING:OBEYTHEPASSENGERPROTECTIONPRECAUTIONSDURINGREFUELINGOP-
ERATION.IFYOUDONOTOBEYTHESEREQUIREMENTS,INJURYTOPERSONS

(3)Refuelingwhilepassengersareonboard
(a)Ifthereareanypassengersonboardduringairplanerefueling,obeytherelatedprocedures
providedbytheairportandtheoperator.
(b)Whenboardingoroffloadingpassengersduringrefueling,putbarriersinpositiontopre-
ventpassengersfromenteringthehazardzone.
