(d)CheckthedefuelshutoffvalveOPENannunciatorisilluminated.
(e)PressintheXFEEDVALVEpushbuttonontheoverheadFUELcontrolpanelofthecockpit
totheOPENposition.
(f)Startthedefuelingpumponthefuelvehicletostartsuctiondefueling.
(g)Whenthefuelquantityreachesthetargetlevel,orwhendefuelingiscompleted,pressout
theXFEEDVALVEpushbutton.
NOTE:
Whentheowindicatoronthedefuelequipmentshowsthattheowrateiszero,
thedefueloperationcanbeconsideredtobecompleted.
(h)Ontherefuel/defuelcontrolpanel,settheDEFUELINGswitchtotheCLOSEposition.
Makesurethatthedefuelshutoffvalveannunciatorisoff.
(i)Stopthefuelvehicledefuelingpump.
(j)Rotatethehandleattheendoftherefuelnozzletoclosetheshutoffvalve,anddisconnect
therefuelnozzlefromtherefuel/defueladapter.
(k)Installtherefuel/defueladaptercapontherefuel/defueladapter.Makesurethatthe
adapterandthecapareintact.
(l)Removeanyspilledfuelattherefueladapter,withadrycottonclothwipe.
(2)Finalprocedure
(a)SetthePOWERSELECTIONswitchontherefuel/defuelcontrolpaneltotheNORMAL
position,andcoveritwiththeprotectivecap.
(b)Closethis(these)accesspanel(s)InboardLeadingEdgeAccessDoorNo.3-Right611CB.
(c)Disconnectthebondingcablesbetweentherefuelingvehicleandtheaircraft.
(d)Makesurethattheworkareaisclean.Removealltools,equipmentandunwantedmate-
rialsfromtheworkarea.
