Option 1 Option 2
OPTIMAL
The Intercom Server as
only equipment at the
ISDN basic rate interface.
CORRECT
The Intercom Server is
connected to a PABX sub-
scriber of a telephone
system.
NOT POSSIBLE
It is not possible to con-
nect multiple equipment
to the ISDN basic rate
interface.
The Intercom Server is connected to the ISDN Basic Rate Interface (point-to-multipoint or point-
to-point configuration, see ”
System Configuration” on page 7) as only equipment.
This is the optimal configuration, because the Intercom Server always has a free line available.
Problems may occur with a PABX system, if the PABX system does not transfer the number of a
caller exactly the way it would be necessary to call in the other direction. With some systems pro-
blems may occur with the exchange number for dialling out.
This configuration is not recommended for use of the
Auto Dialler Mode!
