Section 3. Pole and Wall / H-Frame Mounting
This section covers installation of aftermarket kits (AMK) per customer order used to mount CMC-21/28
cabinets to a pole or wall / H-frame. CMC-35 cabinets are not suitable for pole or wall / H-frame mounting.
Note: Pole mount kits allow installation only for CMC-21/28 cabinets onto a pole from rear and left sides
of cabinet. Pole or wall / H-frame mounting a cabinet with batteries is limited to two battery
strings.
■ AMK 760242250 – mounts cabinet onto a pole, Table F, Figure 29.
■ AMK 760242247 – mounts cabinet onto an H-frame fastened to poles or walls, Table G, Figure 34.
► Pole Mount Kit 760242250
Use kit 760242250 to pole mount CMC-21 and CMC-28 cabinets, Figure 29 (not for use with CMC-35).
Note: If pole diameter is larger than 8.5", do not use the 18" rods from the kit (Table F); and use
threaded rods that are longer (customer provides) to fasten the brackets to the pole.
