Installing an
Expansion Board
Your computer contains expansion slots, as shown in the
“Internal Components” section of this chapter.

The graphics board resides in the AGP slot on the system
board.
Removing an Expansion Slot Cover
1. Turn off the computer and any external devices, then
disconnect the power cord from the power outlet.
2. Remove the computer access panel and locate the correct
vacant slot in the computer chassis.
3. Remove the screw securing the slot cover, then remove the
expansion slot cover from the slot as illustrated.
