Q: How do I know if the DR-2000 is activated?
A: The DR-2000 is activated once you complete the Dealer Activation Portal and the SIM status
changes from “Pending” to “Active.”
Q: Which phones will the DR-2000 work with?
A: Compatible Apple iOS, Android, and BlackBerry devices.
Q: Why doesn’t the car shut down from the Drone app right after I start it using the Drone?
A: The Drone ignores the shutdown command for 60 seconds after starting. This is to prevent bad
signals to and from the Drone servers.
Q: Cell phone has data and cellular signal but the Drone still returns “Communication Error.”
A: This is due to a breakdown between the DR-2000 and its cellular network. It has nothing to do with
your smartphone’s connection.
Q: How do I select the Drone installation type?
A: The DR-2000 installation type is selected by which harness is connected. The Configuration Settings
page will only change installation type for DR-1000 Drones.
Q: Can you have more than 1 Drone per phone or account?
A: Yes, you can have up to 10 different Drones on your account.
Q: How many Drones can be accessed from 1 account at the same time?
A: Only 1 Drone can be accessed from 1 account at the same time.
Q: How do I know if the Drone is in remote programming mode?
A: The parking light output will send a signal similar to remote programming mode for Firstech control
modules. The parking light will flash once and each time a remote button is pressed. Once there are
two flashes. It has exited programming mode.
