COMMISSIONING
/ Pour approx. 7 litres of water into the salt container.
/ Fill 25 kg of regeneration salt into the salt container.
The r
egeneration salt must comply with the requirements of DIN EN 973, or local equivalent, and be of
food-grade quality.
We recommend high-grade regeneration salt in tablet form (KBN: SALZT). When using other
regeneration salts, clean the salt container (6) more often and replace the suction strainer in shorter
intervals.
/ Remove the cover.
/ Note down the installation date on the label (see fig. 8) and in the service record sheet (chapter 12).
/ Open the water supply (main water tap or shut-off valve).
/ Ensure that the bypass valve is set to “operation”.
1. Flushing the water softener:
/ Open a water tap (if possible, near the water softener) and adjust a volume flow of approx. 500 l/h.
/ After one minute of flushing (resin container is vented), insert the mains plug into the mains socket.
After connection to the mains, the control electronics will automatically perform a self-test.

For safety reasons the water softener must be flushed and regenerated immedi-
ately for venting after the water supply is opened.
