11 ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION TIPS / DIS-
POSAL
General cleaning and maintenance: Please take the envi-
ronment into account when caring for and cleaning your
Pedelec. You should use care and cleaning products which
are biodegradable wherever possible. Please make sure
that no cleaning agents are disposed of in the sewage.
Pedelec batteries
Batteries belonging to Pedelecs and e-bikes should be
treated as hazardous and are therefore subject to com-
pulsory special labelling. They have to be disposed of by
specialist retailers or manufacturers.
