start-up procedure
Follow these steps to start up your CORVUS:
1. Place the gearstick (1) in the N position (neutral).
2. Step on the brake pedal without stepping on the accelerator.
3. Turn the key (2) to the pre-heating position and wait a few seconds in that
position until the "diesel heaters" signal (3) turns o.
4. Then turn the key (2) to the start-up position until the engine starts
turning over.
5. Once you have started up the engine, let go of the ignition key.
NOTE:
Make sure that the engine maintains a minimum idling speed of 1,250 rpm.
The gearshift lever must be operated with the vehicle completely
stopped and the engine running at the minimum possible level,
without accelerating.
Failure to comply with this instruction can cause severe damage to
the driveline.
Do not drive with the hand brake on.
Do not operate the hand brake to stop the vehicle. doing so can
cause serious damage to the braking system of the vehicle and can
be dangerous.
When moving into gear, accelerate gently, avoiding abrupt
accelerations.
Before starting the engine, make sure the gearshift lever is in neutral.
DO NOT ACCELERATE.
Failure to comply with this instruction can cause severe damage to
the transmission.
