11. TROUBLESHOOTING
In some region, the digital terrestrial signal may be weak. So you'd better use an antenna with
builtin signal booster.
Problem

Standby light not lit
Mains lead unplugged.
Mains fuse blown.
Remote sensor not connected
correctly
Check mains lead.
Check fuse.
Ensure remote sensor plug
is fully inserted into the
remote sensor socket on
the main unit.
No signal found
Aerial is disconnected.
Aerial is damaged.
Out of digital signal area.
Check aerial lead.
Check aerial.
Check with signal provider
No picture or sound
Tuned to digital teletext
channel
Change to another channel
Scrambled channel
message
Channel is scrambled.
Select alternative channel
No response to remote
control
Receiver off.
Handset not aimed correctly.
Remote sensor obstructed.
Remote battery exhausted.
