Riding without Drive Assistance
Your CUBE EPO pedelec is designed to be also used without drive as-
sistance, i.e. like a conventional bicycle.
When riding without rechargeable battery, make sure the magnetic
motor connector is plugged in the fastening rail of the battery and
does not hang down on your CUBE EPO pedelec. Use the special
magnetic surface in the batterys fastening rail.

If your CUBE EPO pedelec has the seat post integrated bat-
tery, do not ride without seat post. And do not try to mount
another seat post. Your CUBE EPO pedelec must only be
used with the original seat post with integrated recharge-
able battery

. Risk of accident!
Observe the following points when riding without rechargeable bat-
tery:
• Switch on the display of your CUBE EPO pedelec, even when riding
without drive assistance; the functions of your cycle computer are
only then available.
• If the rechargeable battery of your CUBE EPO pedelec is mounted
to the down tube

or to the pannier rack

: Keep the connec-
tions of the rechargeable battery free of dirt and moisture. Protect
the connections of your rechargeable battery with the protective
covers, if supplied.
• If your CUBE EPO pedelec is tted with a complete lighting set
(without hub dynamo), the lighting will only work with a charged
and mounted battery and with the system switched on.
