Pannier Rack Option
Removing the Rechargeable Battery
The pannier rack battery is double secured. On the one hand with the
lock on the side and on the other hand with a locking element that is
operated with a button. Open the lock rst, remove the key and press
the unlocking button of the rechargeable battery. Depending on the
mounting option of the battery, the button is located on the upper or
bottom side of the rechargeable battery. Press the button and simply
remove the rechargeable battery towards the rear (contrary to the
direction of motion)

Fastening the Rechargeable Battery
Before sliding the pannier rack battery back into the pannier rack,
make sure the lock in the connection box on the pannier rack is
open
(b) . The rechargeable battery is inserted into the pannier rack
with the connector in direction of motion. Over the last milimetres
you will feel a slightly increased resistance when the connector is
plugged into the battery’s connection box.
With the rechargeable battery engaged with the pannier rack you
can close the lock. The key is not necessary to close the lock. Apply
a little pressure to press the projecting locking cyclinder into the
lock until it engages, the battery being thus locked. Your CUBE EPO
pedelec is now ready for use.
