The motor is not approved for steam cleaning, high-pres-
sure cleaning or cleaning with a water hose. The contact of
water with the electrics or the drive can destroy the units.
The individual components of the drive can be cleaned
with a soft rag and neutral detergents. You may use a
moist rag, but not exessive water.

Keep the magnetic connector clean and dry as long as the
rear wheel is removed and check, before remounting the
wheel, whether the magnetic connector is soiled or dam-
aged. If the magnetic connector is soiled, clean it with a
rag before reconnecting it.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE OF THE DRIVE
If used appropriately and carefully, the electric drive (f) is mainte-
nance-free. Service routines at the drive of your CUBE EPO pedelec
must be carried out by a CUBE dealer.
Safety services should be carried out by a CUBE dealer every 500 kilo-
metres (310 miles). The safety service should include the following
checks:
• Fastening of all cables and parts
• Operation of the entire electric system
• Operational safety of rechargeable battery
