TROUBLESHOOTING
During the Charging Process
In case of malfunctions during the charging process, carry out
the following checks:
• Is the mains cable properly connected and is there power in the
socket?
During the Ride
• Are the contacts of the charger and the rechargeable battery clean
and sound or are they bent?
• Is the rechargeable battery damaged or defective?
• Is the connector of the charger rm in the connection socket of the
rechargeable battery?
• If charging is still impossible, have the rechargeable battery and
the charger checked by your CUBE dealer.
The auxiliary drive cannot be switched on:
• Check the battery’s state of charge.
• Check the proper seat of the rechargeable battery in the seat post
or in the frame holder as well as the connections.
• Press the ON-button under the saddle (seat post option) or on the
rechargeable battery (down tube and pannier rack option).
• If you still cannot switch on the auxiliary drive, ride on without
drive assistance. Contact your CUBE dealer immediately.
The auxiliary drive doesn’t work, although the system is
switched on:
• Stop and switch o the drive at the control unit.
• Check the proper seat of the rechargeable battery in the seat post
or in the frame holder as well as the connections at the chainstay.
• If the auxiliary drive still does not work after restarting it at the con-
trol unit, switch it o and ride on without drive assistance. Contact
your CUBE dealer immediately.
The auxiliary drive doesn’t work, as usually, e.g. it propels the
CUBE EPO pedelec without your pedalling:
• Stop immediately. Switch o the drive at the control unit and re-
start it after 15 seconds.
• If the problem persists, switch o the drive and ride on without
drive assistance. Contact your CUBE dealer immediately.
