Opening or manipulating the electrical and mechanical
components of the drive and the rechargeable battery will
void the warranty.

Never submerse the rechargeable battery in water. Clean
the battery housing only with a soft rag

and water or
a neutral detergent. Do not use cleaning agents, such as
benzine, alcohol or other liquids. Non-neutral detergents
can make the coating chip o or result in colour changes,
deformations, scratches or defects.

The rechargeable battery of your CUBE EPO pedelec
(h)
contains chemical substances that can result in danger-
ous reactions when non-observing the mentioned safety
advices.

Only use original spare parts. The usage of non-original
spare parts or non-matching parts increases the risk of
damage and malfunctions. In such a case the warranty be-
comes void.

The lithium ion battery should be charged in an ambient
temperature between 5 and 40 degrees Celsius (35 to 104
degrees Fahrenheit). Do not charge the lithioum ion bat-
tery in temperatures of 5 degrees Celsius below zero (23
degrees Fahrenheit) and over 60 degrees Celsius (140 de-
grees Fahrenheit).

In case of smoke emission or unusual smell, disconnect the
charger from the mains

immediately and remove the
rechargeable battery from the charger. Contact your CUBE
dealer.

Never try to open the components of the drive unit, espe-
cially not the rechargeable battery. Inappropriate open-
ing or deliberate destruction of the rechargeable battery
involves the risk of serious injuries.

Keep the rechargeable battery away from re and in par-
ticular away from warm objects, such as radiators. The ef-
fects of extreme heat can make the rechargeable battery
explode. Always ensure adequate air circulation during
charging. Furthermore, high temperatures reduce the
service life of the rechargeable battery.
