BEFORE installing base, make sure vehicle is on
level ground. Place base on an approved vehicle
seating location.
MAKE SURE LATCH connectors are stored.
Unfold the Load Leg from underneath the Base.
Position Base on a rear vehicle seat. If a hump is
present on the floor of the vehicle, see page 35
for important information on the limits of using
the Load Leg in this seating position.
Adjust the Leveling Foot to achieve the correct
range for your child's weight as shown on the
Level Indicator. See page 39.
Fully open the Lock-o lifting it up.
Once open, the Lock-o will remain open on its
own.
