Grab the Infant Carrier at the Belt Guides and
pull from side to side and front to back to make
sure it is installed correctly. The Infant Carrier
should not move more than 1 inch (2.5 cm) in
any direction.
If the Infant Carrier moves too much, tighten
the airplane belts more and recheck. If you
plan to use the Base at your destination, don't
forget to gate check the Base or check it in as
luggage.
OPEN CHEST CLIP
After securing your child with the harness,
open the chest clip.
In order to comply with FAA regulation
for Portable Electronic Devices (PED), the
SensorSafe 2.0 Chest Clip MUST be opened
before take-o.
Note: Make sure the harness straps are tight
before opening the chest clip.
Always have the handle locked in Position A
(see page 20.) while using this child restraint
on aircraft.
NEVER use the L.S.P. (Linear Side-impact
Protection) device on an airplane.
