Newborns and infants who are not yet able to sit up by
themselves (up to around 1 year) should, for orthopedic and
safety reasons, always be transported in the flattest recline
position rearward-facing.
CORRECT SECURING OF YOUR CHILD
• the base sits tight and is fully aligned with the backrest of
the vehicle seat.
• The ISOFIX connectors are correctly fastened to the
vehicle and the load leg has been correctly installed.
• the seat is locked in either rear or forward facing position.
• the 5-point belt system has been correctly adjusted to the
size of the child, the shoulder belts have not been twisted
and the belt system has been locked.
