The Positioning
• Adjust the seat height to allow the shoulders to align with the
axis of rotation of the cams.
• Check the weight to insure that the appropriate resistance
had been selected. Body position and control should never
be compromised by excessisve weight.
• Maintaining proper spinal position, lean forward slightly at
the waist to align the lateral deltoid (whick typically lies
slightly posterior of center) with the path of motion of the
machine.

START POSITION
The Motion
• Grip the handles lightly and allow your upper arm to maintain
a vertical position, perpendicular with the machine arms.
• Choose either to maintain slight scapular retraction of allow
functional motion, raise elbows to a level at or near shoulder
height using smooth controlled movements.
• Return to the starting position and repeat the motion without
resting.
• If unable to maintain the shoulder position for your goal,
decrease the weight and repeat exercise
