IPv6/Port Filter
The IPv6/Port filter is used to restrict or allow certain types of IPv6 data packets through
the gateway. These filters are helpful in securing or restricting traffic on your local
network.
Outgoing Default
Action:
Select whether to Permit or Deny data packets to ow out of the
WAN interface. The default setting is Permit.
Incoming Default
Action:
Select whether to Permit or Deny data packets to ow into the WAN
interface. The default setting is Permit.
DEFAULT ACTION STATUS
Rule Action: Select whether this rule will Permit or Deny data packets.
Protocol: Select the protocol type: IPv6, ICMP6, TCP, or UDP.
Icmp6Type: If ICMP6 is selected, select Ping6.
Direction: Select the direction, either Upstream or Downstream.
Source IP Address
& Prefix Length:
Enter the source IPv6 address and prex length for the rule.
Destination IP
Address & Prefix
Length:
Enter the destination IP address and subnet mask for the rule.
SPort: Enter the source port number if TCP or UDP is selected.
DPort: Enter the destination port number if TCP or UDP is selected.
