disable syslog
Purpose Used to disable the system log function on the Switch.
Syntax
disable syslog
Description
The disable syslog command disables the system log function on
the Switch. After disabling, Syslog entries will no longer be sent to
a remote host.
Parameters None.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To disable the syslog function on the Switch:
DXS-3326GSR:4#disable syslog
Command: disable syslog
Success.

show syslog
Purpose Used to display the syslog protocol status as enabled or disabled.
Syntax
show syslog
Description
The show syslog command displays the syslog status as
enabled or disabled.
Parameters None.
Restrictions None.
Example usage:
To display the current status of the syslog function:
DXS-3326GSR:4#show syslog
Command: show syslog
Syslog Global State: Enabled
