Connecting DC Power to the DES-3528DC
Follow the instructions below to connect the DC power supply of the DES-3528DC to the DC power source.

1. The DC power supply has a three-terminal wiring block consisting of a positive (+), a negative (-), and a safety
ground terminal.
2. Firmly attach the DC power to the negative and positive contacts on the wiring assembly.
The negative pole (-) connects to the -48V contact.
The positive pole (+) connects to the -48V Return contact.
If available, an earth ground may be connected to the center contact post.
3. Tighten the contact screws to secure the connection.
NOTE: Use a minimum 18-gauge (AWG) wire.
All powe r co nnection wi ring sh ould conform to the rules a nd regulatio ns in the
National Electrical Code (NEC), as well as any local codes.
A branch circuit over current protection must be rated between 2A and 10A.
CAUTION: This equipment must be grounded.
CAUTION: This equipment must be installed and maintained by qualified service
personnel only.
