An electrical box temperature rise is detected by checking the radiation fin thermistor with the
compressor off.

Decision
Conditions
With the compressor off, the radiation fin temperature is above 212°F(100°C). (Reset is made when
the temperature drops below 158°F(70°C).)

 Fin temperature rise due to defective outdoor unit fan
 Fin temperature rise due to short-circuit
 Fin thermistor defective
 Connector in poor contact
 Outdoor unit PCB defective
 Foreign matter stuck in the outdoor unit fan
