Detection
High-pressure control (stop, frequency drop, etc.) is activated in the cooling mode if the
temperature being sensed by the heat exchanger thermistor exceeds the limit.
Malfunction
Decision
Conditions
Activated when the temperature being sensed by the heat exchanger thermistor rises above
149°F(65°C).
The error is cleared when the temperature drops below 122°F(50°C).

Causes
The installation space is not large enough.
Faulty outdoor unit fan
Faulty electronic expansion valve
Faulty defrost thermistor
Faulty outdoor unit PCB
Faulty stop valve
Dirty heat exchanger
Foreign matter stuck in the outdoor unit fan

Caution
Be sure to turn off the power switch before connecting or disconnecting
the connector, or parts damage may occur.
Replace the fan motor.
Repair the connector or fan
motor lead wires.
Replace the heat exchanger
