Power Entry Box: Connection box that distributes incoming power to the panelboard.
Power Supply: A device that converts incoming alternating current (AC) power to direct
current (DC) power. They provide power to the LED panels.
Set: A DDMS location consisting of DDMS cabinet(s) and 1 or more LED panels.
Components within a single set cannot operate independently of each other.
Surge Suppressor: A component that protects the LED panel(s) from voltage spikes on
the utility power input at the DDMS cabinet.
Trafc Cabinet: An enclosure that includes control (and can include power) equipment
needed to operate a DDMS site, with extra room for customer-provided equipment.
Depending on the type, trafc cabinets can be either ground or pole mounted.

VM CAN Distribution Panelboard: A component located within the ber-to-wire enclosure
that converts ber cable to copper wire as required by the LED panel(s).
