Besides managing all machine functions,
the electronic system of this espresso
machine controls their proper execution.
In case of anomalies, an alarm is recorded
and displayed.
WARNING: The incorrect use of the machine
can also generate an alarm. In this case it is
sucient to correct improper use.
Some of the alarms are non-inuential for
the proper functioning of the machine.
These alarms are only displayed and not
stored in the system memory. This type
of alarms is marked as “A”. Other alarms,
indicating anomalies regarding safety
or correct functioning of machine parts,
are displayed and recorded with their
triggering date and time. They can block
the anomalously functioning part and
are marked as “ABP”. Only some alarms
totally block the machine functioning and
are marked as “ABT”.
ALL1 auto-ll time-out “ABP”
This alarm triggers when the auto-lling
mechanism does not stop lling the boiler.
Probable causes are:
• Lack of water in machine water feed
• Level probe is encrusted with lime-
scale or grease
• Bad connection of level probe
connecting cable
• Level solenoid valve is blocked,
interrupted or dirty
• Regulation ow screw over the level
solenoid valve is dirty or not open
enough
• Overdraft water from the boiler
through hot water dispensing

Consequences:
• Auto-ll is locked. To cancel the
alarm, press the CANC button below
the display.
ALL2 safety level “ABP”
This alarm triggers when the safety
probe of the water boiler does not
reach the water for more than 30
seconds at a time.
Probable causes are:
• Lack of water in machine water feed
• Auto-ll time-out alarm has not been
cancelled
• Safety probe is encrusted with
limescale or grease
• Bad connection of safety probe
connecting cable
Consequences:
• Boiler is locked. To cancel the alarm,
press the CANC button below the display
ALT C1 “ABP”
This alarm triggers if the temperature
probe does not read the boiler warming
within a preset time.
