Interface
2.1 Installation Overview
In order to set up your camera, you should take these steps:
1. Connect Camera Li nk™ cables from camera to frame grabber.
2. Connect pow er.
You must also set up the other components of your system, including light sources, frame
grabber s, camera mou nts, heat si nk s, host computers, opti cs, encoder s, and so on.
2.2 Input / Output Connectors and LED
The cam er a uses a:
• Diagnostic LED for monitoring the camera. See LED Status Indicator section below
for details.
• High-density 26-pin M DR26 connector for Camera Link control signals, data signals,
and serial communications. Refer to Figure 4: M DR26 Connector for pin descriptions.
• 6-pi n H i r ose connector for pow er . Refer to page 13 for pin descriptions.
