Cable Knockouts The base plate is provided with a number of knockouts for cable entry. The neces-
sary knockouts are removed, and cables and wires are entered through the removed
knockouts to establish connection to the terminal blocks.
Figure 3 shows the ECL 2000’s base plate.

Cable Fixation For fixation of cables entered through knockouts, you can use the diaphragm nip-
ples enclosed in the packing.
Alternatively, use cable glands as follows:
• Cable gland PG9 (knockout ø16)
• Cable gland PG11 (knockout ø19).
