3-Wire Connection
Alternatively, it is possible to establish a 3-wire connection (common ground) to a
motor. In this case, it is important to ensure that the signal ground is correctly con-
nected. The diagram in Figure 15 illustrates how motors are connected to the ter-
minal blocks of an ECL 2000 Type 2.

Connecting the 24 V ~ supply incorrectly will cause damage to the equipment.
