When you subscribe to the Dash Service you automatically become part of the
Dash Driver Network. Drivers in this network automatically and anonymously
exchange current and accurate traffic information based on actual driving
experiences. The Dash Express uses additional sources of traffic information
including road sensor data and historical traffic flow data.
Note: Dash respects your privacy. Shared traffic data is always anonymous.

Live traffic information is automatically updated and sent to Dash drivers every
few minutes. You can view the most current traffic information on your route,
on nearby highways as well as on minor roads.
Solid lines show traffic conditions based on live traffic data, primarily from the
Dash Driver Network. The dashed lines indicate road sensor data on highways
and historical traffic on local streets.
Traffic Alerts
When the Dash Service detects that your arrival time has increased by more
than 5 minutes, the device automatically alerts you. The traffic alert (
) gives
Green Normal, free-flowing
Yellow Slightly congested
Orange Moderately congested
Red Heavily congested
Gray/ White No data available
