What to do if Datalogic STS320 Scanner doesn't read codes?
    • C
      Christian JohnsAug 11, 2025
If the Datalogic Scanner doesn't read codes, place a correctly positioned code under each reader. When the reader successfully reads the code, the green GOOD read LED should light up, and a green spot should appear on the code surface. If this doesn't happen, replace the reader and send it for repair.

What to do if there is no trigger signal at Datalogic Scanner reader?
    • A
      Ashley PetersonSep 12, 2025
If a reading signal (trigger signal) is present and active from the sensor or PLC, and the LEDs in the CBX500 connection box are working correctly, the trigger signal LED on the Datalogic Scanner should also light up. While this LED is lit, the readers attempt to read a code. If the LED does not light up, replace the reader and send it for repair.

How to troubleshoot Datalogic STS320 Scanner presence sensor?
    • O
      Oscar ParkAug 26, 2025
If the presence sensor (light barrier) of the Datalogic Scanner isn't working correctly, check the LEDs on the sensor. A lit green LED indicates the sensor has power. With a clear path to the reflector, only the green LED should be on. If a yellow LED is lit with the green one, verify the mechanical position and orientation of both the sensor and reflector. Each time the yellow LED on the sensor lights up, the corresponding LED in the CBX500 connection box should also light up (yellow for Trigger, green for Input 2). If this isn't the case, check the sensor wiring.

What to do if there is no presence sensor trigger signal from the PLC in Datalogic STS320 Scanner?
    • J
      Joan WilsonSep 3, 2025
If there is no trigger signal from the PLC (if no sensor is used) for the Datalogic Scanner, and a signal from the PLC is correct in the CBX500 connection box, a yellow LED (Trigger) must be lit inside of this box. If this is not the case, please check the wiring and the output of the PLC.
