In the Press mode of the D4press, conventional cylindrical press muffles with a press
plunger can be used whose maximum height is 70 mm without the press plunger and
90 mm with the press plunger, and whose diame7ter is not greater than 60 mm without
the press plunger.
7.5.4 SET PROGRAMS
In the set programs, the firing procedure is pre-defined, and only certain parameters
may be modified. These are indicated in a different color than the other entries in the
Program Editor. The entry mask and program editing options are the same as for
individual programs in Professional mode (see Section 7.5.1). In addition, you have the
possibility to restore the original firing parameters after they have been changed by
pressing Original values . An exception is program 001 PREHEATING PROGRAM
which can not be edited or modified.
7.5.5 EDITING WHILE THE PROGRAM IS RUNNING
After selecting Program Start , you can edit the firing parameters in Program
Procedure by pressing Program Edit (Fig 20).

Press Cancel to return from the displayed prompt to the Program Procedure, press
O.K. to open the Program Editor. If you do not press a key in this menu within 20
seconds, you will automatically return to Program Procedure..
The editing options are the same as the options in Sections 7.5.2 and 7.5.3. However,
only the values of unprocessed program steps may be edited. Only between these
steps and values can the position be changed with Å and Æ . "ENTER"
confirms an individual value and stores it in the program procedure; press O.K. to
close the changes and return to the Program Procedure. After the program has
finished, the furnace is in the Program Editor and the provisional program can be
further edited (Section 7.5.1 to 7.5.3).

7.6 THE SETUP MENU
The Setup menu is used to edit less frequently required furnace settings, to launch
maintenance programs, to record and transfer data, and also offers several additional
functions. The Setup menu is activated from the Program Display or directly after
switching on the furnace. The following functions are available:
