colored background and is emitted after a firing program is completed. The function
keys are assigned as follows:
O.K. Save the selected active signal and return to Setup.
↓ ↑ Select a signal.
Test Listen to the active signal as a test.
Cancel Quit the acoustic signal setting function and return to Setup.
Any changes are discarded.
Change the duration and number of tones of the active signal as follows:
• "ENTER"
• Enter number for duration of a tone (1 = short, 9 = long)
• "ENTER"
• Enter number for number of tones (0 to 9).
• "ENTER"
After the final "ENTER" you will return to the Acoustic Signal menu.
Set date and time
The time and date are displayed on the screen. Press Å Æ to switch between
time and date. The active function is displayed on a colored background. Enter the
correct time and the correct date via the alphanumeric keypad. Press "ENTER" to
confirm your entry and proceed to the other function. The "CLEAR" key resets date
and time to their default setting, i.e. 00:00:00 and Th. 01.01.70. Press O.K. to
accept the changes and return to Setup. Press Cancel to return to Setup without
saving changes.
Language
Select the desired language setting from German / English / French / Italian / Spanish
by pressing ↓ ↑ . The active language setting is displayed on a light background.
Press O.K. to accept the changes and return to Setup. Press Cancel to return
to Setup without saving changes.
C / °F switchover
Select the desired temperature display °C / °F. The active temperature setting is
displayed on a light background. Press O.K. to accept the changes and return to
Setup. Press Cancel to return to Setup without saving changes.
The conversion formulas are as follows: °C = 5/9 (°F-32) ; °F = 9/5 °C + 32.
Safe lift position after the end of the program (only for the D4press)
Activate this menu item to move the lift into a safe posiiton after pressing. This
provides additional safety should the press muffle tip over. This does not affect moving
to the bottom lift postion after the end of a firing program.
7.6.2 MAINTENANCE PROGRAMS
Cleaning firing (see also Section 6.2)
Use the cleaning firing to clean the firing chamber and condition the thermocouple.
Start the cleaning firing by pressing Program Start . It automatically runs for
approximately 19 min. During the program, a message flashes on the screen that
shows the remaining time of the cleaning program. You can stop the program with
Cancel . If you respond to the following prompt by pressing no , you continue with
the program. If you press yes , the program aborts, and you return to the Cleaning
