board

Prerequisites
1 Remove the battery.
2 Remove the base cover.
3 Remove the optical drive.
4 Remove the memory modules.
5 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in “Removing the hard drive.
6 Remove the wireless card.
7 Remove the keyboard.
8 Remove the computer base.
9 Remove the heat-sink assembly.
10 Remove the I/O board.
11 Remove the system board.

Procedure
1 Remove the screw that secures the power-button board to the palm-rest
assembly.
2 Peel the tape to access the power-button board.
