Removing speaker
1 Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2 Remove the:
a microSD card
b base cover
c battery
3 To remove the speaker:
a Disconnect the speaker cable from the connector on the system board [1].
b Lift the speaker cable o from the cable guide [2].
c Remove the adhesive tape that secures the speaker cable to the computer [3].
NOTE: Speakers are held down with adhesive tape as well as rubber grommets. The rubber grommets will
come up with the speaker assembly.
d Unroute the speaker cable from the routing channel [4].
4 Remove the speakers from the computer.
