Removing the M.2 SSD
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the microSD card.
3. Remove the base cover.
4. Disconnect the battery cable.
About this task
NOTE:
The computer supports one M.2 2230 solid-state drive or one M.2 2280 solid-state drive at a time. The following
instructions indicates the steps to remove only one M.2 SSD card as both the cards utilizes the same slot.
Steps
1. Remove the two (M2x3) screws that secure the M.2 SSD support bracket to the palmrest [1].
2. Slightly turn and remove the SSD support bracket from the M.2 SSD slot [2].
