NOTE: All drives connect to the system board through the hard-drive or SSD backplane cable
connector.
The following table provides information about connecting different backplane configurations to the
respective connectors on the system board and expander card.

NOTE: Ensure that you install an expander card on the system board if you are using 1.8 inch (x16)
SSD system. For information about the installation procedure, see the Expander card section.
