Installing the display panel (non-touch)
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The figure indicates the display panel and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
1. Connect the display cable to the connector on the back of the display panel and lock the display cable connector.
2. Adhere the adhesive rubber strip to cover the display cable.
3. Adhere the transparent tape and conductive tape above the rubber strip to cover the display cable.
4. Align the display panel with the tabs on the display assembly.
